Earlier this week KORU had the great privilege to serve the Grayston family in the funeral ceremonies for the late Donald E. Grayston.
I have learned that Don was an inspirational mentor to many ranging from, spirituality, academics, religious studies and life itself and this continued right to the end of his days. Through his very explicit and thoughtful “Departure Directions”, Don provided an example of how to mindfully approach planning for being dead.
I also learned that one of Don’s great loves in life were women (how can you not love this guy!). With that in mind, KORU put together an all-women team of funeral director’s to aid in his funeral services at Christ Church Cathedral in Vancouver. I must humbly say that we ROCKED!!
