Lil passed away October 28, 2023 at Zion Park Manor. Lil is predeceased by her husband George Forshaw. Lil is survived by her three children, Brad ( Tanya), Scott (Tracey) and Lorianne (Brian). She also leaves behind her sister Sharon( Jim). Grandma Lil is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, in addition to many others that know and love her as Grandma Lil.

Our family is heartbroken with the loss of our mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt. Her love was far reaching and her kindness and gratefulness was felt by all those around her.

A special thank you to Zion Park Manor and their exquisite care of our mom. I know that our mom is having a cup of tea, with lots of sugar in it, with so many friends and family that went before her.

Please accept my condolences to the whole family! Lil was a dear soul and I am so sad to here that she has passed away. I know where her faith was based so I am comforted to know that she is at peace with her Lord now! She has been so kind to me for more than 40 years and I will miss her.

My condolences to Lil’s family. My name is Ida and I worked with Lil at McIntosh, McVicar & Dinsley (MM&D.) We knew her as Liz. We stayed good friends throughout the years at an annual get together. There were 5 ladies, and we had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs!
When she & George lived in Osoyoos my husband Tom and I spent a lovely weekend with them along with another co-worker (Shirley & Eric.) Liz and George were so welcoming!
After a couple of visits with her in Langley we lost touch and I was unable to reach her again. I am saddened to hear about her passing.

Thoughts and prayers for your family, Mom & I spent some time talking about Aunt Lil and the times we were able to see her at family events. Then Mom (Jeanne Forshaw) remember doing Christmas in July and how much everyone enjoyed it.

We were sad to hear of Lil’s passing but we know that she is in a far better place, with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was such a warm and loving person. She did so much for Osoyoos Baptist Church when she lived here. Rest in peace dear friend.
